For frames, that usually runs from one to two years from the date of purchase as long as the frame is still available. The warranty covers manufacturer’s defects such as a peeling finish or a broken solder point or hinge. Frames that are sold as factory closeouts at a discounted price have no warranty.
For eyeglass lenses, the manufacturer’s warranty covers hard coated lenses for one year against routine scratching. ***The new generation of super hard coatings comes with a two year warranty.
